The ASH & RAVEN bindrunes are contemporary symbols inspired by the visual language of runes. The readings below are the brand’s artistic interpretations of the visible forms. They are not ancient translations or historically documented meanings.
- The central staff
- The longest line establishes an individual axis. It represents self-trust: the ability to make choices from your own values and accept responsibility for them.
- The upper crossing
- The diagonals open toward different directions while meeting at a shared center. They represent the possibilities and influences you encounter, and the freedom to decide which to follow.
- The two side stems
- The shorter upright lines give the form balance and support. They suggest the relationships, knowledge and experiences you choose to draw on while keeping your own center.
- The inner chevron
- The inward-rising diagonals gather at the central staff. They represent discernment: bringing what you learn back to yourself and deciding what belongs in your life.
Intended meaning
Independence is trusting your judgment, choosing your connections and taking ownership of your direction.
